Joe Addiego—Partner, Alsop Louie Partners
Joe Addiego is a Partner at Alsop Louie Partners. Prior to joining Alsop Louie Partners, Joe was an investment partner at In-Q-Tel, the strategic venture arm of the U.S. intelligence community. While there, Joe lead investments in LensVector, Pixim, ThinKom, and LanguageWeaver, among others. Prior to that, Joe was the Executive VP of Marketing and Sales for Talarian through its IPO in August, 2000. Joe was the CEO of TakeFive Software, a Salzburg Austria-based development tools company. He also spent 14 years growing Integrated Systems Inc., and later Wind River Systems, from a start-up to a $400 million NASDAQ traded company where he held a variety of positions including VP of Marketing and Sales and VP of International Operations. Joe spent his early career at Hewlett-Packard and AT&T in sales and sales management roles.
Stewart Alsop—Partner, Alsop Louie Partners
Stewart Alsop is a Partner and Founder of Alsop Louie Partners. He was a general partner with New Enterprise Associates and led that firm’s investments in companies such as TiVo, Portola Communications (sold to Netscape), Netcentives, Glu Mobile, and Xfire. During that time, he also wrote a column for Fortune. Before he became an investor, Stewart was a business editor and pundit. He was Editor in Chief of InfoWorld, a weekly newspaper for information-technology professionals. He also published PC Letter, a fortnightly newsletter for computer industry insiders, and produced the Agenda and Demo conferences for executives of companies in the computer industry. Way back when he was young(er), he learned to be an editor at Inc. magazine, where he was executive editor.
Brian Bulkowski—CEO & Founder, Citrusleaf
Brian Bulkowski is co-founder and CEO of Citrusleaf. Brian is an expert at building high-scale platforms and middleware that provide ease of use through technical excellence. As Director of Performance, he lead a team to build a clustered distributed recommendation engine for Aggregate Knowledge. At Liberate, he was Chief Architect of Cable Solutions, as well as managing cross-functional groups and founding a new product line for the company. At Novell, he learned the game- changing power of commodity hardware as Lead of AppleTalk routing for Netware 3 and 4. Brian has also contributed to start-up efforts in the areas of mobile internet, wifi mesh technology, high-scale IP-based television, and the contextual web. Brian holds a B.S. from Brown University in Mathematics/Computer Science.
Srini V. Srinivasan—CTO & Founder, Citrusleaf
Srini's passion is building and shipping software products that reach millions of end users. As VP Engineering at Verdisoft, Srini oversaw the building of high performance consumer data synchronization products for mobile users. At Yahoo!, Srini created and managed a global team responsible for the development, deployment and 24X7 operation of Yahoo!'s mobile products. Prior to this, at Liberate Technologies, Srini led the development of the Connect DTV server product. Earlier, at IBM, Srini pioneered the design and development of IBM's first two internet database products. Srini holds a dozen US patents in the areas of databases, internet, mobile and distributed systems. He received the B.Tech degree (Computer Science) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, and the M.S. and Ph.D degrees (Computer Science) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
